I didn’t think Kingdom Hearts III was ever going to happen let alone on Xbox, but they say good things come to those who wait and without a doubt Kingdom Hearts III is definitely a good thing. While some may like the tutorial messages I found them to be a little annoying due to how many times they popped up. Exploration in the game always feels rewarding and the little touches that have been added make the adventure even more of an immersive experience. They’ve done a wonderful job of making Kingdom Hearts III accessible to fans of the series and newcomers which means more fans will come to the table, and old fans will find nods within. In terms of content there is a decent amount for you to get to grips with and the variety the content offers you means it very rarely becomes boring or tedious. Battling against various enemies always felt fun and the amount of depth within the combat made each move feel very satisfying and enjoyable. I loved the story because it always kept me interested and even though it gets a little too mixed up at times the charm always shines bright in the tale.
